Spirit of Knowledge

There is a verse in Daniel 12 that has fascinated me for quite some time. "But you Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Dan 12:4
Knowledge of what? If knowledge is one of the seven Spirits of Father God, is knowledge of the heart of God is what Daniel is being clued into? If knowledge is on the increase then man must be walking in an incomplete truth prior to that increase?. How much of what you and I have been taught falls into the category of incomplete truth? What teachings have we simply taken for granted? Who's responsibility is it to seek knowledge?
It baffles me that Jesus, during His most direct teaching on our identity in John Chapters 14-17, actually tells His disciples "there is much more I want to tell you but you are not yet ready". What apparently they were ready for was - Jesus own works were going to pale in comparison to the disciples works; that the Glory the Father gave to Jesus, Jesus was transferring to them; that they are now One with the Father just as Jesus himself was one; and oh yeah, that it's not only for them but for us too. If the disciples were ready for that, I wonder what knowledge they weren't ready for. And by the way, when where they ready? And by the way, when are we?
I like to consider knowledge the result of seeking and finding truth; and truth the path to freedom; and walking in freedom the gateway to walking by the Spirit of God. By attaining and applying knowledge we align our spiritual DNA back to that of the Fathers. We are hearers and doers of the word. We walk by the Spirit of God as sons of God. Impacting culture as we are intended to and they are eagerly waiting for (Romans 8:19)
What if we as believers demand from within ourselves an intense hunger to discover the knowledge that God has for us to discover? Are we ready to handle it?
This next series of blogs is going to take us on a journey. We are going to discover how to pursue truth, how to test it, how to insure we don't fall into the "false", and how to apply it to our lives. We might challenge some traditions that have stretched the christian doctrine into dangerous waters. We might bind some lies and loose some truth. We might risk a little bit but one thing is for sure...this is gonna be wild.
Bride of Christ now is the time for our revealing.
